Escadrille X
A WWI sniper kills a commanding officer and is sent to the American Foreign Legion where he is unwittingly placed in command of a squadron of derelicts that must fly inferior machines against superior German planes and pilots.
Think M.A.S.H. meets All Quiet On The Western Front with WW1 pilots.
